What amazing photos everyone! It is really encouraging and inspiring to see how beautiful New Zealand is when you are in the initial stages of applying for PR and moving there :nice1 or when, as in my case, you've never even been to NZ!
I will certainly contribute my own photos once (or if) I eventually get out there! Keep them coming :D

Cuba St and People? No problem, i shall throw the camera in the van this week and snap away whilst working around the city! ( i know i got jobs in Willis St, Cuba St, and The Terrace at least this week).
And Croft, you sure that shot of Welly is from Mt Vic? Seems way higher and further away than Mt Vic to me? Looks more like from the Wind Turbine? (Correct me if i am wrong, maybe i was on the wrong hill!)
Heres one i took from what i "think" is Mt Victoria?

Yep, yours is Mount Victoria and I would agree that the photo from Croft is much more likely to be from the Wind Turbine at Brooklyn.

Hannah, go to flickr, and select the pic you want. Look to the right hand side of it, there is a view different sizes option.
go to that, and select medium (well thats what I used) and copy and paste the link underneath it, its something like www.farmstatic....... etc copy the link into the http box that pops up when you want to insert picture.

Can i request a piccy of Mission Bay please? (beach and theres a nice chip shop!)
I spent 10days in a youth hostel in Auckland, and quite frankly we didn't get up to much at all except for the day we walked all the way to Mission Bay! And enjoyed my first southern hemisphere fish+chips and sat on the beach.
That was the first day in NZ, when i really thought "now this is the life right here" !

ps - What cameras do you all have - I'm a keen photographer and would love to know what equipment you're all using.

Thanks for the pic Sharon, but for me they look like ugly floating hotels, not like classic ships, anyway.............
Went for a walk to Te Waihou walkway near Putaruru today, lovely walk, the river has crystal clear water and is stunning. Have popped a few little pics on for others to see... The Blue spring pours water out in to the river, and it is the main source of water for the town of Putaruru. It is so clear you can watch the trout lazily swimming around in the water.
