Dave TV (freeserve channel) showed 4 epsiodes of Billy Connolly's trip round NZ last night. It looks like there's another 3 episodes tonight from 9pm. He got as far as Wellington last night before I had to slope off to bed!!

For anyone who hasnt seen this - (providing you don't mind BC's swearing!!) it's great viewing. Very informative about NZ as Billy explores the country and very funny as it's interspersed with comedy from his shows over there.

I second that, and also had to slope off to bed after the Welly show! A couple of moments had us in tears of laughter.

Saw it on UK Gold a few months ago, ended up buying the dvd!!!
I like Billy Connolly anyway so had a double bonus.

I saw it too. The Dave TV channel is also available on Sky. I'll have to check to see if they're definitely on tonight! I have a potty mouth myself so his swearing doesn't bother me one bit ;)

I saw it was coming on dave last week and dropped it into conversation with my big yin mad stepfather only for him to bundle the DVD into my hand on the way home. I watched all 8 episodes in one night and never got tired of it. I also didn't know his wife Pam was actually a kiwi.
