Just saw the last EOI draw, all EOI either with job offer or with 140 points. Not sure what to do without job offer I have 125 points and unless I am threre, cann't get a job offer.

Anyone knows what kind of changes are kicking in from next month, any idea? is it going to be more tough or what?

Hi,
due to the long period where there are no draws around christmas the first January draw is always those with 140points + and those with jobs. It will drop during the year. Dont be too depsondent about the first draw of the year.

The changes due next month ( assuming that they dont postpone it again) will in my opinion make things clearer in terms of what various jobs should involve.

I was going to apply in 2006 but OH's father was seriously ill, then the points system was against me (120 no job offer), then it dropped last November to as low as 110 I seem to remember, so I applied. I got selected and got an ITA. I don't intend to get a job until I'm over there, although I may need a highly convincing interview as I don't think we could go if I only get a WTR.
So hang in there it could still happen.
