Hi, I'm after some after advice and/or whether anyone on here has got PR in a similar situation. I've seen similar posts but not one that totally relates to this one.
OK, I put in my EOI when the points dropped to 110 (I think) in November 07, it got accepted and I received my 1 inch thick ITA last week.
I have 120pts, no job offer, 4 kids and never visited NZ as of yet (plan to go 08/09 year).
I am not set on which part to settle in just yet, so getting a job before we go is not an option.
My concern is when we get all the paper work and spend the best part of £2k+ and send in my ITA what's the likely hood of only being offered a WTR?
I've seen on previous threads the likely questions so I'll be quite well prepared for the telephone interview (how convincing I'll be though is debateable). Experience wise; I've owned a graphic design company for over 10 years, which includes web design (front end, not programming). so whether this has any sway on getting PR again is debateable. In addition the company has been internationally/nationally recognised with over 100 awards in 5 years, thought this might help to drop this in the interview to hepl with job prospects????
The worrying thing though is I've read on other threads that with no job offer and only 120 points, PR is granted only in exceptional circumstances???
But the selection criteria drops for a reason and they knew my situation before they sent me an ITA.
Sorry for rambling just need some advice.
