Hi,

My partner would like to take his computer and flat panel monitor to NZ. I phoned up the airline (Air NZ) and they said it should be OK as hold baggage if it is marked as fragile, as apparently it gets taken away specially instead of the usual baggage handling. We'll package it up well (we still have the original boxes).

I am worried that it wont be handled carefully enough (I have never took anything fragile by plane before), or that the flat panel wont survive the temperature and pressure in the hold.

I wondered if anyone had experience with this?
