Just got the news - we are approved in principle for PR.
Interestingly it came in the form of a request for the CVC code on the card with which I'd paid the application fee. No actual mention of approval, just saying they wanted the number so they could collect the migrant levy!
Now received by email a copy of the AIP letter... and it all begins to sink in. So much still to do: book the flight (and I'll be away from my wife and kids for nearly five months before they fly out - thank goodness for Skype), hand in my notice, sell the house (already on the market, but no takers yet), clear out the loft, get rid of (or otherwise sort out) a lot of the stuff in the garage, sort out my tax...
So I should start work in NZ a mere six months after being offered the job!
