I had my immigration interview today and she has said I should here in a day or two if our PR is approved!!!

She rang as I was trying drain a toilet cistern which had chosen it's moment to start leaking all over the floor so god knows what answers I gave - I just hope I was speaking into the phone and not the sponge or spanner that were in my other hand (yes it's the woman who does the DIY in this house, hubby would have been on the phone to a plumber and ready to dip into the immigration savings pot).

The house is only five years old and suddenly everything seems to be giving up the ghost. Last week it was a panel of the conservatory roof that shifted in the wind causing another nice puddle to mop up and we had a full asking price offer on the house at the weekend so I am currently a certified nervous wreck!!!

Thanks. Fixed the original leak and now it's dripping in a different place so I've taken your advice Barb and have swapped water for wine!!!

Don't worry, when you arrive at the airport there's a special nervous wreck channel they send you down. Not sure how long we were there but we came out all happy smiley. (Now if I can just unbuckle this strap, I'll be able to move my arms again ha ha ha ha ha............):exit
