Hi all

Coming out for a recci in April.

Travelling round but mainly in Taupo/ Rotorua/ Tauranga

However want a couple of place to stay on way down.


Also want somewhere to stay about 1hr south of Auckland airport. Have found mention of Taupiri being nice. Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay?

Really want to go to Matamata, can anyone recommend somewhere to stay?

When I came over for a reccie last year I stayed at the Tower Lodge Motel just on the outskirts of what is a really sweet town.

The owners were really nice and friendly (ex-pats) - and you could do a lot worse!
