New Zealand - Help, please: including new info. with ITA

Please can someone a bit further along in the process than we (we're Decision Successful) help me with this question? Thanks:

we have realized that there is one job my wife did - four years full time - that we could and should have included under Work Experience in our now-approved EOI. We were being too narrow about what we defined as relevant work experience when we filled in the EOI.
My question: may we legitimately include details of this experience when we return the ITA, as long as we put a note on it explaining why this is 'new' information?
In case you're wondering, yes we do think including it will help our case (we're not just gilding the lily!)

There is a separate page in your ITA that allows you to enter "New/Updated Information". Basically you would put the item number and why you are changing/ammending it. I would not change anything now since the whole goal of the EOI is to be selected (past that I don't think points really matter) and just ammend your ITA when you receive it.

Thanks so much. Yes, and sorry if I wasn't clearer, but that's what our plan is (i.e., to amend ITA). I wouldn't have rocked the boat at EOI stage, but our EOI was verified last week and we have movde to Dec. Successful.
So I'm particularly pleased to hear your tip about the amended-info page. That's just what I was after.

As I'm sure you are aware. Your information included on the ITA has to be verified and confirmed, ie: evidence/proof, through certificates/documents ect. That rule also applies to any amendments you disclose when you return it.

Just make sure you can confirm the information you're giving. I did the same thing with extra info', then had a hell of a job tracking people down for references. Afterwards, I wished I'd never included some of the information as all NZIS are really after is the last 10 yrs work experience. I could have provided that with ease.
