I am (soon) starting a new business and have been quoted 2-3 weeks to do the graphic design work by a media company. Pure Indesign stuff and Photoshop and flair.

Is there anyone out there working for themselves who wants some work?? I can do the work myself but would propably have a break down if I tried to all parts of the new venture.

this work woudld be on-going bi-monthly.

howdy, well not much into graphics but have worked with corel draw before. I am already in welly and seriously looking for an IT job. Its so damn difficult as the job market was closed for Dec-mid Jan.

nefertiti I too can work in Coral but they all want stuff in InDesign plus I can't do all of it . Its probably too far off for you to gain as I still working in my current role.

What IT work are you looking for and who have you visited agents wise? I used to be in recruitment in Welly so may be able to help. Job market will increase as Govt want to spend their last bit of budget. But its not easy to break in.

well I have set up with Recruit IT, Sapphire, D&R, Real Recruit, Madison, HVP, Candle, Hays, Neal Andrews, Beyond, Kelly, Icon, Vision, Gen i, Telecom, Seek. Well I am not too much on the applications side. More of on the Hardware. I have had expr with Tech Support, Sys Eng, IT Support Tech, System Support Tech, Hardw Eng.

I don't understand as they advertise lots of jobs, where are they getting the people from ? I am still awaiting for interviews with companies. Already had one with SKY city - AKL, went all the way up there on my own exps. They turned me down. Job was Tech Support Specialist.

I am a freelance graphic designer actually, but based in Auckland...too bad! unless you don't mind doing the cyber communication. hahaha
