We've been fed up with Telecom now for monthes..........
We sold off our mobiles a few months ago and the rip off data card!
Christmas time was the last straw with Telecom, they slowed us down for going over on our contract on the internet! They said we had downloaded loads one day and we still cant to this day make out how they worked this out.
So, hubby phoned IHUG, they told him we could have broadband for $20 a month is he took out a mobile phone contract for a 2yr period, and have the telephone rental cheaper also.
He got his phone last week, costing us $99 and tonight phoned IHUG who tell him that we are not going to get the FREE disconnection from Telecom we had been told, and we would only get discounted broadband for the first year evern though he took the mobile contarct for 2yrs. He was not happy!
He has just spent the best part of 2hrs trying to sort and had eventually got somewhere when he told them he was returning the phone and wanted full reimbursement.
What is it with phone companies out here ?
