We are furnishing an entire home from scratch in Wellington with used furniture and I have to say I find Trademe to be a pretty frustrating experience. I would like to spread the word about Craigslist.org in the hopes that folk in NZ will start to use it. It is a free place to list just about anything for sale, for rent etc. No auction, just a detailed listing with photos. Not many people use it in NZ( I don't think it is well known) but it has become hugely popular in the US. We use it all the time to rent our rental homes, buy furniture, sell stuff etc and it is great and FREE. Spread the word about this great site and maybe it will become a viable option in NZ as well.
