Greetings,

I am part of a group of university geography students from Canada who will be visiting New Zealand this June/July. We are planning to be in Wellington on July 5th when the All Blacks are playing the Springboks. I figure there is no better way to experience Kiwi culture than to attend this match. I am guessing that tickets are pretty hard to get for these games and was wondering what the chances of getting some would be, when they go on sale, how much they cost, and any tips or hints on how to get tickets would be appreciated.

Alternatively, if there is not much chance that we would be able to get tickets, any recommendations for a good place to watch the game would be appreciated.

Cheers.

I didn't have any trouble getting tickets a week away from the NZvFrance game last year in Wellington, but then it was obvious it was an under strength French team.

Everything is available over the Web, including printing out of tickets, so I suggest you keep watch on www.allblacks.com to see when they are available, and which agency is selling them.

The all black tests in Welly for the last 2 years (Ireland and Springboks) have had tickets available. The Hurricances have only sold out once in the last 2 seasons (against Crusaders) as far as I am aware. I doubt you'll have problems. When the kiwi's say they are fanatical about rugby they're talking about watching it on the rugby channel
