Here's a puzzler...
My potential new employers are keen for me to get to NZ ASAP so would rather I apply for work visa and permit then apply for PR once out there. They don't want to wait for the lengthy process to complete, fair enough.
My questions are
1) does the $240 charge advertised on NZIS cover both visa and permit or is it $240 each?
AND
2) OH will need to apply separatly but given that he was planning to look for work once we get there and can sort out child care for DS, do we have to wait until I'm granted visa and permit before he can apply or can he apply at the same time as me?
