Hi guys

I tried to find the answer on this forum but for some kind of reason the search does not bring back any results  for my question.

So here it goes:

We have handed in our ITA in December last year and are now waiting for NZIS. Now I know that the medicals are valid for 3 months does this mean if NZIS don't process my file before the expiry date, do we have to redo the medicals again :( ?

Thanks

hi,
As far as I know once you have handed the medicals to NZIS they are valid for 2 years.

cheers

Had a look at our entries on the website a couple of weeks agao (we activated our PR visas last year) and noticed our medicals were now listed as 'EXPIRED'. Hope we don't have to do them again!!!

once your documentation arrives at their offices within time, they then don't expire

Just an add on.The accompanying letter of instruction does have a section on medicals & in bold letters says "medicals which are valid at submission". So if your medicals were still valid when you submitted, there shouldn't be a problem. Hope this reassures you.
