I gave up on the apply and settle page months ago. We've got PR and blue stickers and my log-in page still just says :EOI - decision successful. Bearing in mind the irritating hiccups in the application process (it felt like I was continually reminding the Visa Officer what to do next e.g. shouldn't we have a letter saying 'approved in principle' - Oh yes sorry, I'll send it)

Start e-mailing NZIS and ask for information - just keep gently nudging them. Use the lack of information on the website as an excuse for updates.

The whole web-site has been spectacularly slow the last couple of nights, to the point of refusing to respond entirely. A pain, since I was reviewing my EOI page-by-page.

That coupled with the poor design of the EOI online form, the ambiguities and errors it contained, and the ridiculousness of them not having anything close to my job title on their system despite having obscure things like 'pizza store owner' and 'wool comber', has all lead me to believe that they're a bunch of amateurs :)

But no, no problems logging in.

Yes, it would be funny if we weren't paying $400 to go through it.

I have managed to log in. I decided to try out IE instead of Firefox, and it worked. Pretty strange. Possibly my cache in FF was interfering.

NZIS have posted an apology for the slow running of the site. They've been having problem and are working to address them.

@Potato: yes could be. If anybody has any problems logging in with Firefox, clearing the NZIS-related cookies might help. If anybody needs to know how to do this, feel free to PM me. The site itself is Firefox-friendly - I certainly managed to complete an EOI submission using it.

It's like this so often, I'm beginning to suspect that rather than pay for proper hosting, the whole site is running off a PC in someone's back bedroom over their broadband connection :D
