Does anyone have any idea of how much it is likely to cost to get 'Working Drawings' done in the quest to build your own house?

An aquaintance of ours has created a 'Concept' drawing of the type of house we would like, but we will now need a set of professional drawings that will pass scrutiny with the Council so that we may obtain a building permit. (And to present to a builder for costing at the next stage)

As our ideas are entirely independant ie: not a 'standard' plan as produced by say 'Signature' or 'GJ Gardner' we wondered what it would cost for a 'one off' Architect's drawing?

We used a designer that I found through a professional association. We gave him requirements and he did the design work. He will (or one of his workers) will also "draw up" your plans. He charged us $3330 plus GST for design and working plans. We were pretty happy with this.
