Great news, our Blue Stickers arrived today!!

A word of warning though - despite stating on our form to NZ Immigration that we wanted to collect our ITA paperwork in person when they were done with it, and we did not provide a secure post return envelope, they sent it on to us using Royal Mail Special Delivery.

This service means Royal Mail is not supposed to leave the parcel unless it is signed for.

Yes you've guessed it - returned home today to find it all shoved through the letterbox. Fortunately it was the right letterbox and was all intact but it could have been a completely different story.

I know Rusty was asking about the best way to send their ITA and my advice was hand deliver, and most definitely avoid Royal Mail - this goes to show why!!

I just had the same thing happen with my passport - I've just renewed it. That was also supposed to have been sent securely. Despite having my name and address clearly and correctly displayed, it was not only delivered without a signature, but to the road behind us! Fortunately, the people who received it were honest enough to bring it round.
No wonder so much personal data is going missing!

Thanks for the warning. We decided to deliver by hand after all the advice.
It goes in tomorrow (well UK tomorrow).

Same here. I've renewed my passport and visa as well, it was left on the doorstep by the "secure" delivery man who was supposed to get my signature.

Congratulations on the blue stickers.

We've had the opposite problem with Special delivery, as both of us work, having to go to the local postal depot when they are open to collect the package. I get them delivered to work now.
