Our application was fast!!!

EOI completed online 15 Jan08
EOI Selected 17 Jan08
EOI Successful 25 Jan08
ITA Received 28 Jan08... after the weekend.

And this all without any job offer, but 160 points.

The checklist is just confusing. Do I only need to submit the items that are asked there???? E.g. They only ask for originals or cert. copies of qualifications, but nothing is mentioned about NZQA, although a PAR was done. They are however requesting that we register with the lab scientist board.

Any help regarding this issue?

well done on the application ! :raebanana

it makes me angry though because our application was the same with job offer and it took 5 months to get an ITA - its seems its just an arbitrary thing

I think that this might differ from person to person, but some of it might be general.

This is what was requested from us:

Application fee £685

Application form completed, checked and signed including amendments

Passports of for all
Full birth Certificates of all
Marriage Certificate and evidence that you have lived together for the last 12 months
Registration with the MLSB
Qualifications: Supply qualification
Work reference: Confirm number of years work experience as claimed. Must be on company letterhead and show start and finish date of employment. What role you held and average weekly hours worked.
PARTNERS QUALIFICATION – As per requirements
English language proficiency: This will be different for each individual. Depends on what you filled in on the EOI
Medical and X-Ray certificates for all
Police clearance certificates for for all above 17.

The documents can either be originals or certified copies.

Hope it helps.

We were just as shocked. :raebanana
8 days took as be surprise. We were still relaxing and not really thinking of getting at least some of the documents together. Now we are in a real hurry, as it takes ages to get some of the requests back.

We want to get this finished quickly, so that as soon as our ITA are returned, we can start with the job hunting.

Keep well:cheers

Ysbeer
