Just a warning to anyone who is flying in the near future and expecting to get a few hours kip in the transit hotel at Singapore airport - if you are booked into the new terminal 3 hotel - try to get a transfer to one of the other terminals or suffer the noises of the workman!!!!!!
My sister and brother in law flew back to the uk over the weekend :wah ( i miss them already!) they thought great stuff brand new rooms to stay in - however they said the banging was horrendous, they mentioned it to reception but nothing was done!! Now it may only be certain rooms - but to my mind it isn't worth the risk - if it were me due to be in there in the next few weeks I'd be asking to tranfer NOW!
