I've just spent half an hour doing various Google searches, trying to find the location of the main railway station in Auckland (for the TRanzScenic overlander). Help!!!

Overlander train service departs from The BritoMart Station located at BritoMart Place, 12 Queen St, (between Quay Street and Custom Street East), Auckland Central.

Britomart is located at the very end of Queens Street. Opposite westfield mall (I think the name of the store). You need to go towards the ocean/wharf.

The main passenger sectors are the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Queens Wharf and Princes Wharf, which stand alongside each other, off Quay Street, right at the heart of Auckland Harbour. Cruise liners call at the Overseas Passenger Terminal and Queens Wharf, where facilities are numerous. Since this was the focus of the America's Cup, the whole area is awash with smart restaurants, trendy pubs and other entertainment options.

Looks as though it's straight opposite the railway station. QM2 apparently si to big to moor there but QE2 is OK.
