Hey all,

I've been lurking around this forum for the past few days and the feedback here's incredible, so I figured I may as well sign up and get some of that advice to head my way.

Anyway, I'm a 26 year old Canadian (Toronto) looking to check out all the hype that is NZ. Post #1's right here in case folk can be of any help:

I'm sure the weather is quite similar, but I dunno if you've been hit with the same snow that was dumped on us over the past few days. We got 50cm (around 20") over the past two days... which has definitely increased my motivation to lurk on anything that is NZ.
