I started a new NZ book last night, 'Kiwis might fly' by Polly Evans.

From the first 50 pages it's a cracking read, a good slice of life in NZ, great humour and a bit of learning too.

Definitely a recommended read especially if your jetting off soon. I'd be safe to safe it's the best NZ book I've come across so far.

Synopsis

I read it too a while ago, made me want to start motor driving lessons again. I emailed her to pay my thanks and she even replied. Really nice book by a nice lady :)
