We now have our vacuum cleaner. We still have scuzzy carpets. We have no bags for our upright vac and can't find any anywhere. Any ideas before we call for red cross parcels from the UK???

Have you tried Electrolux dust bags (http://www.electrolux.co.nz/node37.aspx?categoryid=8714)?

Otherwise, Electrolux are sold at some electrical stores such as Noel Leeming, have you tried them?

Thanks but those are for the cylinder types they sell here. There don't seem to be any upright cleaner like they sell in the UK. Noel Leemings only have the bagless type of cleaner in upright. We've already had to buy a new fridge - don't fancy the expense of a vacuum cleaner now too.

I couldn't get any when we first arrived and didn't think to pack any DUH!

I got mine from eBay.au. Too long ago to remember the seller but you could check for your model as he did heaps of different ones. They arrived really quickly. :raebanana
