Hi anyone out there!!

We will be making the big move, if all goes well, with all fingers and toes double crossed about August this year.

We will be moving with my OH job and that he is the main visa applicant, but I work in a pre school and have done for some years and hold a NVQ 3 in early years
but if we make our dream come true by making the big move I would like a change and have been looking into HCA (health care assistant) and if anyone out there has info on this they could share with me,

like the chance of getting a job in this field and are they in so called demand.

Anything would do Good or Bad.

Thank you
Michelle

My OH is an experienced health care assistant and we have been reassured by several people (at expos) that they are in demand. I don't know how you would go about changing to that job from something else though.
Another thing to bear in mind is they we Have been told it is an advantage if you can drive.

Hi

Thanks for the reply,
I do drive so may be of some help.
We are also going to the Leeds EXPO in April, so i can also find out where to start etc.

Where are you planning to go?
Hawkes Bay is our ideal but this depends on OH job so we will go anywhere within reason really.

Thanks again Michelle.

I'm going to the expo in April too- not sure which day as I'm waiting to start a new job so will have to see which day I can get off.
We're planning on Hamilton. The great thing about health care is being able to work almost anywhere.
