Hi everyone,

just want to say hello to the great community here!

I am a German living and working in Austria as IT professional, my wife is a physiotherapist, also from Germany originally.

Now Austria is really nice, but being still young (early 30's) we're keen to see more of the world. New Zealand has always been a dreamland for us nature-lovers, so the idea is to go and work there for two or three years - or how long ever it will eventually turn out to be. ;-)

I'll start specific threads on the topics, but in case anyone stumbling across this one already feels they might be able to help me out, I'd also appreciate a short hello in this thread - my main areas of open questions after days of research in the last weeks and months are
- how to get certified translations of German documents
- can my degree in Commercial Information Technology be accepted as Skill Shortage
- any chances of recognition of German physiotherapy degree
- the IELTS test
- what, besides X-Rays, is in the Medical Exam

Oh - of course I'll appreciate any other short hello just as much! ;-)

Hello, Jan.:) For a start, I KNOW I've recently seen a link on one of the threads which goes to the complete text of the medical. If I find it again before someone else does, I'll point you in the right direction.

It may be because I've spent too much time on the PC today, but I can't seem to find that link in your post - am I missing something?
If I don't see it because I'm lacking privileges (just did my 5th post), maybe you could give the thread title and the forum, then I'd find it.

Yeah, I hit the search function a lot today and before, and found lots of useful info, also including the topics above. I posted extra threads for some of them now, too.
I'd still be happy to hear from anyone who has experiences in those areas, or is simply facing the same questions.
