Hi there,
my wife is a physiotherapist who got her degree in Germany and has been working in Austria for over seven years now.
Does anyone here know if there's a chance for her to get her qualification accredited to work in NZ?
Seems it's quite a lot of paperwork - and expensive, too - even compared to what the NZQA does to apply for physio registration, and we know she wouldn't get it without the work experience, but maybe they count that, too?
If she can't get registered, is it possible to work as a therapist in certain specialized fields that may not be covered by physio registration? She took some extensive courses for some areas, and also works with that here.
Thanks for any reply,
Jan
