Started work on Monday (Staff Nurse) Christchurch hospital)
I was the first nurse to start on the recuritment drive that the hospital had back in Sept. Well where do I start
There has been a lack of communication between HR and ward 29 (gastro)
I was recruited at interview for oncology/medical cluster anyway the hospital tried to pull a fast one at induction and tried to fill vacant posts in the medical wards I stood my ground and the outcome was desirable.

Good for you Karen!
Hope it all works out for you.
Hospitals have a knack of that.

All the best.
It's not only hospitals. I bet all those overseeing the so-called caring professions have a tendency to try for your sympathy/play the vocation card. The word 'just' comes up a lot. Just these two above the maximum group size... It's just till we get the resources... You, with you're experience, you'll be all right just till we sort something out... Well done for holding out.
