After what seems an eternity (13 months in total), we've finally been granted Permanent Residence. This morning we got our passports back complete with blue stickers.
The shippers come on March 3rd and we've already booked our flights. We leave on 29th March, stop over in L.A. for 10 nights, leave L.A. on the 8th April and then arrive in Wellington on 10th April. I'm a bit freaked out about missing out on April 9th, but that's what you get for crossing the International Date Line!
We've booked a bach in Belmont for a couple of weeks. Hopefully that will be long enough for us to find a nice 6 month rental.
Anyway, didn't someone mention bananas???
