Have looked at ERO reports etc but anyone got any personal recommendations about schools in HN? Am I right in that there's only one Intermediate School? And it is zoned?

What are views of HN Primary? Te Mata primary ? And Lucknow?

And Iona College? (our eldest 2 are girls) compared to HN High school ?

What are people's views of going from a primary to the Intermediate v from primary to Iona College, which starts at Yr 7 compared to High School starting at Yr 9 following Intermediate?

If 'today's' plan comes off I might be able to get to NZ ahead of the family to have a look but any info at this stage welcomed!

My daughter started work as a teaching aide in Havelock N. Primary School 2 weeks ago and is extremely happy there. She hasn't commented on the educational attainment but is very impressed by the standard of the children's behaviour and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

I believe all Havelock North state schools are zoned?
