do you reckon this means that
1) we've been approved for them
2) they will email us to tell us ?

If they have taken the money, then yes I would say that they have processed your application and of course you will have been approved :)

I certainly wouldn't expect them to email you, we've been through the immigration process twice now (WTR & PR) and gave them our emails both times but never received one back from them in regards to the process, so wouldn't hold my breath.

If times are short then I would give them a phone call.

Can't you check the 'suitcase' thingy if you've applied on line and see if updated there - that's how we found out about PR :)

Hi - do you have an email address / phone number for your visa case officer? I would try that. I thought they debited the money as soon as they start processing, rather than when it is done.... or is that just for PR applications?

We phoned our case officer and got the good news that way - if you have a case officer?

haven't gotten any communication so don't know about any case officer ... I wouldn't think you get case officers for working visas do you ?
