I just had a look on nzs.com at employment agencies (http://www.nzs.com/business/services/jobs/recruitment-companies/), and it's a bit disheartening - there are so many!

Can anyone recommend an agency (or one to stay away from)?

Since there are special types of agencies, a little about me: I am unskilled - no special licenses or the like - I am smart and personable and easily trained (omg, I sound like a cocker spaniel), great worth ethic and can't lift extremely heavy loads.

I suppose I would be most suited to things like cashier, shop assistant, stocker, office cleaner, etc. Pretty much all those jobs you do when you're actually looking to be Rich and Famous doing Something Else. :p Including the great industry standard - waitress. *sigh*

Hello Porknbeans,
Where are you planing to live in NZ as it depends on you?
I applied all the agencies and whichever found me a job I worked with them. I was lucky that the one found me the job at council asked for me for long term. Now I work for the Council permanently. It is the same for Mark as well.
