Today I went to the courthouse got certified copies of my birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc, etc that I'll be sending off with my PR application. It just dawned on me...it would be tough to get these sorts of things in NZ. I would like to be equipped for any situation in NZ where I'd need identification. Question for US people who are now in NZ: what official paperwork should I stock up on before I leave the US? Anything you wish you'd brought?

We bought copies of our medical records, birth certificates, baptismal certificates, marriage license, diplomas, transcripts, six months of banking statements, etc. PM me if you have any questions.
