I have a degree and professional skills that are listed on the Longterm Skills Shortage List, however when I filled in my EOI (but have not submitted thus far) they're not listed in the drop down menu on the Qualifications page (I think it says Absolute Skills shortage list). I'm assuming they're not the same but why have these lists if we can't get credit (or points rather) for these skills???

sorry folks I'm just venting :(

Long term skill shortages and absolute skill shortages should be the same. What is your qualification?
Immediate skill shortages are different, however. ISSL makes job offers easier for the employer and employee and are more regional shortages, not countrywide shortages.
