I just wanted to find out. I am qualifying in a degree in social work this year in July in the UK. I was just wondering about the amount of work experience one needs to move to new Zealand. I have six years work experience in social care work, but not as a qualified social worker. Could someone please advice me if and were that places me in getting a visa. Does it matter that its not qualified experience. It is relavant to what I would be doing:confused:

I would think it would depend on the job description(;s). If your experience fits in with a given category on the skills list then the fact that you did not have a qualification should not matter, but don't take that as the definitive answer, just what I assume based on the use of the skills list.
hmm not so helpful after all was it? :)
