Yeap I can see the face too although I hadn't noticed it before I am afraid to disillusion you though it is only mud!!!!

Frances the oven glove! is actually a cover to stop his little nose getting sun burnt!

Congratulations Tara I learned to ride on a horse just like him! Oh the memories!!

Just out of curiosity, are horses expensive to keep? We have space here and I must admit to wanting to get back to riding again myself. Would be good for the children aswell when they get older! just Eric to talk round now then!!

Not sure what it is going to cost yet but so far nothing seems too bad.

Insurance is only $120.00 for the year!

He is a real darling can't wait to get out on him.

:laugh :laugh :laugh Timbo!!!!!

He is Beautiful!! Congrats! How much land do you have to have there to have horses? Whereabouts are you located? And how much is hay?

Sorry for all of the questions--I now have 3 horses and love them so dearly!! That is my dilema (sp?) when we move to NZ!! I have a great place they can go, but I will miss them horribly! I will definitely be getting a or many :eek horse(s) when we are settled!!

So happy for you!

He is gorgeous

My daughter wants a Pony when we get there and I suppose I have a go at getting back in the saddle too.

Does anyone know what the cost of livery is for a horse?

Tara-
That is so exciting! I bet you will have a great weekend!

Beauty and Pancho are rescue horses. They have such great personalities. Beauty was harder to get close to but once I did, I feel like we have such a bond.
They are incredible animals!

Have a great weekend with your new horse!!

Sorry to change the track of the thread here, but there are some lovely houses on that website Moorf. I think I have found my dream home.

http://www.min.co.nz/frames/templates/property.cfm?propertyID=191477

or

http://www.min.co.nz/frames/templates/property.cfm?propertyID=223148

Now all I need to do is win the lottery as it is way above our price range.

Yes, Min Sargison agents always seems to have quality homes in great locations - it's the main site we use as it covers the areas we like..

So are you are looking in Diamond Harbour too ?

We actually went and had a peek at those places a month or so ago... they are in great positions and amongst some of the best houses we have seen in Chch yet :nice1

Now.. where's that lottery ticket... :?

The one in Rue de Moliere is especially good value in my opinion...

Nicola
5th February 2005, 11:49 PM
No we were not looking especially at Diamond Harbour. We were just blown away by the scenery. I love looking at real estate web sites.

Unfortunatly our choice of final destination has to take into consideration our batch of sprogs, so think we need to end up in Rangiora. :no But maybe when we finally get rid of them all we could find somewhere we like. :yes

On the subject of Rangiora I have just recieved some info from John the estate agent. He seems to be very helpful.

Good luck with the house etc. :hopeso
