Anyone sent off a UK certified copy of their passport for their ITA in the UK, if so can you tell me if it's just the part with the passport information and photograph that you photocopied?
Asked NZIS and they said front two pages copied, but these don't contain any UK passport details as all the information is at the back! :uhoh

Hi
I didnt copy for my application, as we submitted the passports themselves for this, but have been asked to submit copies for other reasons when we first got here, plus had to forward to the UK for our police checks, which i did the pages you suggest, i then had to get them signed and verified by a Justice of the Peace.

It's just the photopage they need, afaik, containing your picture and the passport number and other details.

That's what thought, did explicitly email NZIS to ask if it was the part with the passport information and photograph.
And they replied back that they wanted the front two pages photocopied. I guess that's must be where most passports contain your Photo & Information.
Just having a last minute panic before submitting my ITA
I'm sure your right it must be the photopage, anything else does not make any sense.

We copied the photopage at the back. NZIS staff checked our documents when we lodged and didn't say anything.
They will need your originals to put the stickers in (hopefully) at some point anyway.

New Zealand passports contain the information in the first two pages the British Passport in the back. You need to photocopy the pages that contain your pic and information.......:cheers

Don't you need a certified copy for NZIS?
We got ours certified at the local police station. They photocopied the information page, then wrote on it that it was a true likeness, and stamped it with their special stamp. All done in 10 minutes, at zero cost - result!
