Thank you all so much for the good luck wishes, & for leaving the lights on in NZ!

The jet lag with the kids was brutal :wah , both in Bangkok (where I had to try to buy some silver jewellery for our shop in the UK) & again in NZ. However we all seem to be coming around now.

For those of you who remember I was worried about my 4 yr old twins shouting out - 'but we are coming to live here' as were going through customs on a visitors visa, but they were good as gold after a little talk about daddy doing all the talking! The visas are all being sorted out this end by Oasis (teacher placement agency).

We have only been here 3 days, but so far we're loving it :clap . Marie & Daniela; I will be in contact soon.

We are off to turners car auctions tomorrow to buy a car!

Best Wishes to all, Fi.

Yes, glad you made it ok!

The jet lag is awful isnt it. I remember it well!

Took us about a week to get ourselves sorted, especially our little one. Remember getting up at midnight/2 am and being wide awake all day till about 4pm then would try so hard to keep awake but couldnt..........

Good luck and keep us posted!

It was really lovely to meet you Marie and Daniela (& families). If anyone in Auckland doesn't work during the week & has advice on entertaining 2 4 yr olds it would be gratefully received!

I will keep you updated with the car/house situation :roll .

Best Wishes, Fi.

Thinking of places my grandchildren like - the zoo, the park next to it, Motat next to that. Kelly Tarlton's. Any amount of beaches.
