I'm planing on coming over in Aug with BUNAC and I wanted to see what my chances are for finding a job (pays the rent, but gives me enough time to see the country)

Here are some highlights of my certifications and experience

- MBA in Strategy
- Experience with SQL and Crystal Reports (no certs, but have done a couple custom reporting projects)
- Substitute teaching license from California (just the license, no experience yet)
- Working on an EMT certification

I guess it is a bit broad, but I guess I like to keep my options open :)

So, any ideas about what kind of jobs I could be looking at?

BTW, the visa through BUNAC allows a person to work up to 12mo for a single employer.

Crystal Reports is used here and SQL skills are always useful, so you should be able to get some work with these skills, it does depend on what you want and what you are willing to accept. the 12 months can be off putting for some employers, but with the labour market like it is at the moment, it shouldn't be a problem

As a bit of background. The main purpose for this trip is see if emigrating to NZ is right for me. So if everything works out, I would not be against taking on a long term job.

Also, is it possible to get project based jobs? Especially for something like Crystal?
