Hi there I am in the initial stages of this journey and its all really confusing.

I have an HNC in Mech Eng and a degree in Mech Engineering does that mean I calim 50 points for both. When you do the pointers checker it deosnt say you can only select one.

Does anyone know the answer.

Pretty sure that you can only claim 1 lot of 50 points for your quals. Good luck

:uhoh Although I'm selecting both its only giving points 50 points.

It was giving me 130 points I was worried I'd have to take 50 off and be less than 100. Just needed that extra 10. Will have to work hard on a job offer to get more.

yeah you would only get points for the highest qualification you have (or are claiming for)

have you checked whether your job is listed in the shortage list (and if you have work experience or quals in a shortage area) these can be valuable extra points...
