I've been looking at this as a guest for ages now and have finally registered - I've learnt so much already it's been great to see that loads of people are wondering about the same sorts of things as me. Thanks.
About us - hubby's a kiwi and has been in UK for 12 years now. We've thought about going back for ages, but not seriously, and then 2 years ago we started to look at things differently - after a great visit back. Since then we've been back 3 more times to try to be as certain as we could be (and it wasn't just that we'd had a fab holiday!) while I got on with the paperwork. Now I have PR - visa sitting in my passport and I have to be in NZ by Feb 2009.
We can't decide, or aren't brave enough to decide yet, when to go - ie November-ish or January. Christmas is getting in the way - last big family Xmas in UK or first hot one with his family there. We've got a bit of time but sooooo much to think about .............
