Hi There,
we are a family of 3 with a mad dog looking to relocate in the next 12 months to Wellington from Cornwall,. we started this process in Sept 2007 and I was offered 2 jobs which I have had to turn down as we have not managed to sell our house:( although dropping the price by £40k. We have had 4 viewings and 2 estate agents in 5 months:wah
So to cheer us up we have decided to to a recce at the end of May, if we have an offer by then we will contact potential employers while we are out there.

Where abouts in Cornwall are you? We moved from Camborne to Dunedin a few months ago and love it here. OH says this area looks like "Cornwall on steroids" - same hills but so much bigger!

hey we moved from Cornwall too, Falmouth to Waiheke, have to say its similar in attitude and then some! "Dreckly" has nothing compared to "waiheke time"

Good luck with it all. We live in Welly & its not as windy as we were first led to believe. Plus it has less rainy days than the north & you know what they say "you can't beat Wellington on a good day".
