Can almost smell that NZ air... we're due to arrive in Chch on Friday, clutching our newly issued visas. Would be very interested to meet up with any of you already there to try and get our heads around the realities of life on that beautiful island, PM me if you like.
Thanks to all who have shared advice and support so far... I'm pretty sure we'll be needing more over the coming months, and we'll be glad to provide any we can offer too.

Thanks. Is it acceptable to give yourself a banana? We're cock-a-hoop to be going finally, and that's a phrase I've never had occasion to use before!
Hope I'm not going to be too excited to sleep.

Congrats to you! Have a safe and easy journey. Grab a row of seats for yourself if the plane isn't full, even if it means sitting away for your partner for take off. This way you'll have a row you, your partner or your baby (assuming that's your child in your avatar) can take turns napping comfortably.
