I have finally got my nurse registration,my husband has his too.We can now submit our EOI both having job offers too.:clap .
We will then see how far we can get with this process,as you probably know our daughter has autism/learning difficulties, but we'll give it a good go.
We hope to be in New Zealand around september,if all goes well.
I feel excited but also anxious that all this may come to nothing.
Will keep you all posted.

Congratulations, that's great news... my wife is a nurse (renal) and will be submitting her paperwork to NZNC as soon as we've returned from next months 3 week 'recce' trip.
The agency OH has signed with (Tonix) have said NZNC still have a backlog of 4 months
I hope you're successful with your residency application :)
Good luck :nice1

You are very lucky with the timescles on your NZNC registration. My husband sent his application off in October and its still not sorted. Annie at Tonix is phoning them everyday. Email back today suggests its now gone for final approval so hopefully not long now. We are however facing the prospect of being homeless as our house in the UK will be sold and we won't have visas in time for my husbands original start date in May.

Congratulations Britzy :raebanana :raebanana ... a big step in the right direction.
We are just getting together all the information that NZNC need and then we'll be set for a long wait!
When you say that you managed to send all your documents together did you send in your references yourself and the verification request from the NMC, or did they go directly to NZNC?
It has been worrying me about how NZNC match up all the different bits of paper that they must receive from separate places. If we are able to get all the docs together ourselves first and send them all together I would feel happier, but I didn't know if this was an option.
Sorry to ramble :)

Well done, Britzy.
TrentBridge, NZNC don't manage to match up all the bits of paper, that's one reason why it takes so long. The references I sent were all signed for their end and then "lost". Had to get the transcripts sent twice. They wouldn't accept an undated reference, even after I had my referee phone them.
On the bright side, once they had all the stuff together, they were quick.
Good Luck!

I sent as many documents as I could myself all my references were given back to me so I could check them then I posted them off.I did have to rely on the transcript and NMC verification to be sent separately but I chased these up both ends as I was convinced something would get lost, luckily it didn't.
