Police Certificates are valid to be submitted with your visa application for up to 6 months.

But once submitted they are then valid for up to 12 months from date of issue, so if your application takes longer than this period you may be asked to submit a new certificate.

NZIS may also request a new certificate at any time if there is good reason to do so.

Thanks all for that... just wish the NZNC would speed up their nursing registration/approval, currently taking 4 to 5 months and OH is not too happy :roll
