I got this email from the US Consulate. Sorry if it's been posted and I missed it...
U.S. Official to Hold Town Hall Meeting in Christchurch
On Wednesday, March 26, United States Consul Nicholas Greanias will conduct a Town Hall Meeting for American citizens at 7:30 pm in the Antarctic Passenger Terminal, 38 Orchard Rd, Christchurch International Airport, Christchurch. Car parking is available in the USAP parking area north of the Administration Building. Mr. Greanias, the chief of consular operations for New Zealand and much of the south Pacific region, will be in Christchurch March 26-28 conducting passport and citizenship interviews (by appointment), as well as talking to individual U.S.-citizen residents of New Zealand about other concerns.
The focus of the Town Hall meeting will be aimed at revitalizing our American-citizen warden network, wherein expatriate Americans here share important information of interest to all. Mr. Greanias will also be prepared to discuss the fascinating state of U.S. presidential elections -- including how to vote absentee -- and any other matters of general interest.
It would be helpful if you could email us and advise if you wish to attend.
