Hi everyone
Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone out there.
My hubby finally got a job offer (after 6 months of late night phone calls) and we are now starting our process to leave SA.
It is such a big disision to make and I would truly not have been able to find my way through this process without the help of this forum.
THe offer was from an acredited employer, but we can only apply for a talent visa once we have medicals and police certificates. Medicals done, hubby have slight problem with his BMI, but we are not going to despair. Police clearance will take min 4 weeks.
I managed to book a seat for the IELTS for him in April. We will then apply for talent visa as well as lodge EOI at the same time. At least with the EOI we can apply for medical waiver. Did all the other additional blood test and they were all clear so we are still hopefull. It is surely not illegal to try as many ways as possible.
I have no doubt that this is goint to be the start of a nerve recking joy ride.
Hope to meet some people that are going through the same process currently.
