The day has finally arrived for me to put in my EOI,I have everything ready for my application,my nurse registration,job offer,done all my research,I turn on the computer and the damn thing won't work,no internet connection.:uhoh
It actually won't work on the day I'm ready to commit myself to my future life.Its been down 4 days with no sign of anything being done over the bank holiday period.Both the OH and I are on annual leave and we were going to work through all the paperwork together now we have to wait.I would prefer to do the EOI online but if needs be it will be the paper one.
It really makes you appreciate how depend you are on the computer and its so important with the whole immigration process.
Well I've had my moan now on the work computer,will miss reading the forum for a while but will catch up on my nights.

Can you ask someone nicely to 'borrow' their computer or is there a library you can go to ?

Ummm.... instead of logging into the forum, why not log into the NZIS website and start on the EOI? You don't have to do it all in one go, and you save it where you are up to. I worked on mine over a period of a few days, both at home and at work....

Thanks all,will get on with my EOI when Im next at work can't do tonight as I've not brought any of my documents its usually very busy at work.I just wanted to have a little moan and search the forums while I have the chance.

so sorry. Just wanna let you know that one of my friends had the same probs and even worse! Not only his computer but the Internet was down in the middle east (I live in Egypt) for nearly two weeks because of a submarine cable cutoff.
Just smile, everything will be fine :)
