LATEST on OUR NZ MOVE

We've chosen our venue & date for our leaving do, and aiming at mid December for our arrival.

We're hoping the house sale goes through during this time which will negate the need to ask for a handout from the bank.

Chirstmas and Summer in NZ, sounds good to us. :nice1

Sounds like you're at the same stage as us. Hoping to be there before Christmas but all depends on the house sale. Exciting/nervy times eh? After planning this for over 15 years, the reality is scary.

Bear in mind that air fares will double, if not triple, after 9 December because of peak season (e.g. Christmas, summer time in NZ etc).

The next few months will fly with all the organising and soon you will be sat on the beach enjoying Christmas.

It will be strange having Christmas in the middle of summer though.

Start planning now and sort as much as you can, we thought we were organised but it was still a rush at the last minute. Start changin addresses now, you will be amazed how many people you have to tell 2 and 3 times. Start a list and tick of when you tell them and agin when you get confirmation you have done it. We had a contact address in the UK so you can start this now if you have the same.
