I think I have already found this out, but I would just like to clarify the fee's involved in emigrating to New Zealand.

EOI - NZD$400
ITA - GBP£695

are there any other costs involved, and I take it these are for the application and not for each person on the application?

There is also the migrant levy - £110 per person up to 4 people payable once ITA is successful. On top of that are your medicals and police checks. Medicals vary from £250 - £350 per person depending on where you go and if you need extra tests and I think the police check is now about £35 per person or more.

also some more minor costs that you might incur...

getting copies of full birth certificates , £10 each
getting copies of any qualifications if you don't have copies (mine cost £35)

I think he migrant levy has gone up to £120pp now, but i could be remembering that wrong :)

Oh also, if you need to have your qualifications assessed by NZQA or if you need to register with a NZ registration board (for medical professions etc) there may well be fees for these too, but i have no idea what they might be.

Is that NZQA applicable to all applications?
The OH has to register with the Nursing Council which is ~NSD$400 iirc.

I think it is only when you need qualifications assessed, I'me sure there are people who will let you know with more certainty than me.

whether you need NZQA assessment is dependent on your qualification and if you have a job offer or not (as faras I know anyway)
